ROUND 5 of the Eclectic Competition held at The Ridge over the first 6 months of 2021

30 players teed off on a very cool (5 degrees) morning without any hint of rain. It warmed up by mid morning but by them many players had a poor score for their front nine as they could not feel their fingers and gripping the club was difficult.

The fairways were in good condition and the greens were lightning fast they had been mowed short.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Sam Lee

29 May 2021 - Rosnay (Auburn) Golf Course - Individual Stableford - 7:15am

25 players teed off on a dry but very cold morning. It took our hands 4-5 holes to warm up enough to properly hold a golf club.

There was no rain or showers during our round and it did warm up after the sun came out

The greens were in very good condition albeit a bit slow due to the added moisture. The rough was not too thick and the fairways had a lush green thick cover that allowed the ball to sit high enable good contact.

 Guzzlers Cup was won by Mark Santer.

 The Guzzlers Guzzler was won by Chris Lee with 32 points.

 24 players teed off on a clear but very cool morning with a weather forecast of a warm dry day. 

The greens and fairways were in good condition. The greens were moist making them a bit slower than normal for putting. The fairways were lush with good green grass cover.

24 players teed off on a cool overcast morning where rain was forecast later in the day.. 

The greens were slow early.

The fairways were in good condition with very few puddles of water visible anywhere on the course.

The lake was full of water and the creeks were flowing.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Rodney Dixon with 40 points ahead of Rob Guidi (37) and Mark Santer (37). Brett Coventry was awarded the Pink Ball for scoring only 22 points.

Yellow Ball Team event was won by the team of John Adelerhof, Jeff Saunders, Fred El-Daher and Fred Pearce with 34 points ahead of the team comprised by Peter Bull, Adrian Adelerhof, Brett Coventry and Moz Huertas with 33 points.

26 players teed off on a warm and sunny morning.

The course was pretty wet underfoot. The greens were moist and held the ball for approach shots. As a result putting on the greens was slow.

The fairways were slushy and kicked up a lot of water when the buggy wheels. Carts were not permitted on the course to avoid damage to the fairways.
