28 players teed off on a beautiful sunny day that was free of cloud, wind and rain.

The course was a little wet underfoot at first from the overnight dew but once teh sun came out teh fairways were beautiful and the greens in excellent condition for golf.

The team of Steve Messervy and Grant Lethbridge fared the best with a score of 62 (70 strokes less their handicap of 8)

In second place was the team of Ben Everson and Ian Cooper with 64.75 (75 strokes less their handicap of 10.25)

In third place was the team of Graham Clarke and Steve Carr with 65 (73 strokes less their handicap of 8)

In last place was the team of Graham Jones and Scott Whyte with 71.5.

38 players teed off on a very good morning for golf, It was cool but not too cold. There was a bit of dew on the ground but no rain. It turned into a warm sunny day that would turn the fast greens into super fast greens by early afternoon.

The Guzzler Cup winner was Ryan Carr with a 3 over PAR round. Ryan also took out teh Guzzlers Guzzler - a play-off between the Guzzlers Cup winners of each round held over the past 6 months. Congratulations to Ryan.

31 players teed off on a beautiful Autumn morning for golf. The track was dry and there was only a slight breeze. Te greens were fast and the fairways were well covered and well mown. The bunkers were generally in good condition but there were still a few bunkers on the back 9 which we play first that had big foot prints in them that were obviously from yesterday indicating that the green staff did not rake them before we teed off.This is our only real complaint about this course which is one of the best that we play.

The greens were a bit slow but the fairways were lush and green with plenty of run.

The winning team achieved the highest Stableford Points for those holes that were completed with the yellow ball still in play

Our new Captain, Rob Guidi, selected 2 Ball Ambrose event to celebrate his ascendancy to Captain from the role of Vice-Captain whhich he performed with distinction for several years.

As it was a team event there was no outright Guzzlers Cup winner but Joe Taylor considers that he would have won it and should be able to hit Benny and Ryan for a beer at the Miranda Hotel after golf.

32 players teed off early on a warm day that was very wet underfoot after torrential rain on Friday afternoon and night and where thunderstorms werer forecast for after lunch. Because Kogarah Golf Club could only accommodate 28 of our players for 18 holes we had four players that only played 16 holes (3rd-18th holes). To ensure that all players had an opportunity to compete for the major prizes your Captain decided to make it a 16 hole competition.
