18/07/2026 - Rosnay (Auburn) Golf Course - Pairs Matchplay ROUND #2 - Individual Stableford - 8:00am

 26 players teed off on a cool dry morning with overcast skies and a forecast of fine weather until at least lunchtime.

The grass cover in the 'rough' off the fairways was a very thick and wet from overnight rain BUT the local rule was "PREFERRED LIE THROUGH THE GREEN" which made it easier to strike the green from the rough for some. 

There was a 300mm preferred lie on fairways which was useful on some fairways where water from overnight rain had pooled.

Bunkers were OUT OF PLAY.

The greens had a good grass cover making putting reasonable.

GUZZLER CUP was won by Rob Guidi

2nd Place:                           Julian Werrett (32 points) on a count back from T. Tillbrook

32 players teed off on a dry and cool morning with clear skies and no wind. The temperature was forecast to reach the late teens by lunch time which it did.

Most of the bunkers were IN PLAY but there were some that were GUR marked with a stake as they were partially of fully filled with rain water.

There was a 300mm preferred lie on the fairways only.

The greens were in very good condition but fast for putting.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Ian Tillbrook
