20/06/2026 - Boomerang Golf Course - Individual Stableford - 08:00am

29 players teed off on a cool morning with clear skies - a good day for golf.

All bunkers were in play.

The fairways were in very good condition although a little damp in parts as a result of recent rain..

The greens were well covered so putts needed to be firm to get to the hole.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Ian MacIntyre

13/06/2026 - Calderwood Valley - Hackers Challenge - Individual Stableford - Shotgun Start - 7:00am

Shotgun Start: Players were scheduled to tee off from the 14th Hole through to the 1st Hole simultaneously so players were asked to be at the ProShop ready to walk to their tees by 6:30am

The Hackers Challenge is a highlight of the Miranda Golf Club playing calendar is a hotly contested competition between the Miranda Social Golf Club and the Engadine Hackers that has been in the MGC playing calendar since 1997. As is the usual case the games were played in good spirits and all involved in the competition appeared to enjoy the experience.

To evenly balance the opportunity for each Club to win the Challenge 2 golfers from MGC played as Hackers to make 10 even groups of 4 (40 competitors).

The Hackers defeated Miranda 7 and 3. Congratulations to The Hackers for an outstanding effort. MGC will now look forward to the rematch in 2027.

Miranda has won The Challenge 18 times since 1997 and The Hackers have now won 11 competitions.

25 players from MGC teed off on a morning with mild temperatures clear skies and no wind.

The fairways had a very good grass cover and they had been well mowed producing a reasonable amount of 'run' and the grass in the rough was a bit long and wet making it difficulto get a clean strike of the balls that had come to rest there.

There was a 6 inch preferred lie on fairways.

The greens were in good condition but fast making putting challenging.

Bunkers were in play and contained a good amount of sand.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Peter Bull

3rd Place:             Ian MacIntyre (35 points) on a count back from 3 other players
