12 players teed off on a warm morning with clear skies - a good day for golf.

All bunkers were in play.

The fairways were in very good condition.

The greens were well covered so putts needed to be firm to get to the hole.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Tony Bedingfield (38 points)

32 players teed off on a cool morning (11 degrees) with clear skies and a slight breeze. The weather forecast was for a maximum temperature of 21 degrees during the day and the forecast was 100% correct. 

The fairways were generally in good condition with a thick covering of grass but still patchy on some fairways.

The Greens had a good thick cover of grass that made putting all the more challenging.

There was no Guzzlers Cup winner as we played 2 Ball Ambrose:

President, Gary Barnes, thanked players for their speed of play that resulted in most, if not all, groups finishing their games in under 4 hours.

The Singles Matchplay Champion for 2026 is Mick Connor who defeated Julian Werrett 1 UP

26 players teed off on a dry and cool morning with clear skies and a strong cool breeze. The temperature was forecast to reach the mid 20 degrees by lunch time which it did.

Bunkers were IN PLAY. 

There was a 300mm preferred lie on the fairways only.

The greens were in very good condition.
