The Singles Matchplay Champion for 2026 is Mick Connor who defeated Julian Werrett 1 UP

26 players teed off on a dry and cool morning with clear skies and a strong cool breeze. The temperature was forecast to reach the mid 20 degrees by lunch time which it did.

Bunkers were IN PLAY. 

There was a 300mm preferred lie on the fairways only.

The greens were in very good condition.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Luke Huertas

The Miranda Hotel has agreed to support the Miranda Golf Club through a sponsorship that give the winner and runner-up some money to spend at the hotel while enjoying a drink and/or a meal with family and friends. 

Today’s prize winners would have been:

But they chose to take golf balls instead of the money despite Frank Fuller's protestations.
