28 players teed off on a very warm morning with no rain or wind and plenty of cloud cover that made the playing conditions very humid. Most players were exhausted when they finished and very glad to get into the air-conditioned club house.

1. The Annual General Meeting will he held at the Kareela Golf & Social Club at 7pm on Tuesday 20th February 2018. All members are encouraged to attend to show support for the current committee, have a say in the way in which the Club is run and develop the future operational strategy for the golf club in relation to the structure of competitions, handicapping options, green fees and funding of the club's events such as Annual Day.
Some members are having dinner at the KGSC prior to the AGM so if you would like to join  them for dinner please be there at around 6pm.
