21st October 2017 - Kareela Golf Course - ANNUAL DAY - 5:50am

38 players teed off on a great day for golf. The rain that fallen in the preceding 18 hours had not resulted in much pooling or water on the course and we didn't even get our feet wet other than those who found the occasional hazard.

At one stage had the names of 43 players down for the days even but we had a few pullouts and a 'No Show' which was disappointed as he had to pay for the lunch as it was a catered event. The committee will have to think about how we manage this next year - perhaps taking a deposit to cover our expenses may be the way to go.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Steve Buchanan - the 'gun' from Kogarah - who apparently played well but would not concede that point after the game. He may be worried about The Handicapper catching up with him.
