After a start to the day, which was hampered by light rain, the day turned warm and sunny for the most part.
The fairways are still a bit patchy yet course management has optimized the use of GUR to help the course to recover. the greens were in excellent condition and challenging.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Matt Saunders (35) who appeared to enjoy the company of those with whom he played.

The Annual General Meeting is on 13 February so enter it in your calendar and get a leave pass to attend so that you can have your say in how the golf club is run and influence the future direction of the golf club for all members. It is only 3 weeks away so PREPARE!
Also if you would like to nominate for a position on the committee of the golf club please let a member of the committee know and he will give you a nomination form that has to be completed and handed to a member of the committee 2 weeks before the meeting.
Annual membership subscriptions are due. Please pay in advance of the AGM to maintain eligibility.
