22 players teed off with a very warm morning that lived up to the weather forecast of temperatures in the low-30s.
Steve O'Grady had a return to form winning The Guzzlers Cup ahead of his 64th birthday and surgery to replace his knee both happening this coming Monday - great birthday present!

Notifications:
1. Denis Daniels gave those present an update of the condition of his brother, Garry, who has moved to Room 21 at Lark Ellen Aged Care, 133 Jannali Avenue, Sutherland.
2. Rob Guidi joined us in the celebration of today's game and the presentation of prizes to the winners. Rob had his knee replacement 3 weeks ago on 17 January 2019. Those present congratulated him on his progress and remarked on the great job that nurse Kathy, Rob's wife, was doing getting him back on his feet. She said that she was just encouraging him to get out of the house more often. I think that she said something about ".... out from under my feet!".
3. Next weekend is the annual weekend away where 28 players will travel to Batemans Bay.
The boys will be playing Catalina on the Friday, Moruya on the Saturday and Kembla Grange on the way home on the Sunday.
The boys will be staying at the Mariner's Waterfront Hotel in Batemans Bay on the Friday and Saturday night.
Due to the large number of club members travelling away the Saturday game at Boomerang has been cancelled although some players may choose to just play a friendly social game for the fun of it.
4. The Annual General Meeting for the Miranda Social Golf Club will be held on Wednesday 20 February 2019 at either Tradies or Gymea Bowling Club - TBA
