27 July 2019 - Gerringong Golf Course - Pairs Matchplay Championship - FINAL ROUND - 8:00am

30 players enjoyed teeing off on a beautiful clear and dry morning.

Denis Daniels & Fred El-Daher defeated Gary Barnes & Mick Connor on the last hole to win the PAIRS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019. Gary & Mick were 1 UP when they stepped onto the 18th tee. Denis & Fred were lucky when Denis' 3rd shot onto the green hit an NTP marker leaving it closer to the hole than would have otherwise been the case and Denis nailed the putt to win. Mick said that he and Gary had their chances but could not close it out. Obviously the game was hotly contested but was played in good spirits.

Congratulations to Denis & Fred but both teams played good golf to make it to the FINAL.
