29 players teed off on a clear dry but cool morning where a thick mist was visible up to a metre from the ground.

The day turned into a beautiful warm Spring day that reached into the low 20s. Perfect for golf.

The golf course was still a bit wet underfoot and the cover on the greens was rather thick causing putts to finish short of the hole. The green staff declared Preferred Lie in the Bunkers with no rakes in them.
