28 players teed off on a cool morning with clear skies and little breeze early. When the sun came up it turned into a nice warm day. Good for golf - not too hot, not windy and no rain.
The course was mainly dry underfoot and in very good condition.
The greens were in good condition and were fast making it a bit difficult for putting.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Rob Gillespie.

Notices:
The Final of the Pairs Matchplay was postponed to a later date as Fred El-Daher had gone to Rosnay by mistake and by the time he got to Boomerang he was not in a fit state to play a competition round. At least that is what Tony Bedingfield and Rodney Dixon thought and they did not want to win on a forfeit. Good sportsmanship on the part of Rod and Tony. Well done!
