29 players teed off on a morning that was a little chilly to start but warmed up after an hour or so. The sky was clear and no hint of rain or wind.
The fairways were dry with a thick covering of grass.
The Greens were in very good condition with pin placements that were challenging for the putter.

John Adelerhof and his wife, Barbara, depart on a 10 day island cruise tomorrow afternoon. John will be celebrating his 90th Birthday (3 November) on the cruise with Barbara and his daughter and son-in-law. We will see him again in two weeks.
