25 players teed off on an overcast morning that cleared quickly into a warm sunny day with no wind but a slight sea breeze to keep us cool.

Bunkers were out of play and parts of the course were muddy from recent rain but the course was mainly dry underfoot with fairways in good condition.

The greens were in good condition and fast with downhill putts generally running past the hole.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Steve Buchanan
