31 players teed off on a warmish clear morning with light wind making it an enjoyable day for golf.
The fairways had a very good grass cover and they had been well mowed producing a reasonable amount of 'run' although there were some areas that were marked as GUR. The rough was a good length and generally in good condition. 6 inch preferred lie on fairways.
The greens were in good condition helping good putters to sink their putts.
Bunkers were IN PLAY.
