32 players teed off on a warm morning with clear skies and a slight breeze. The weather forecast was for temperatures in the mid 30s by mid to late morning and the forecast was 100% correct.
The fairways were generally in good condition with a thick covering of grass but still patchy on some fairways.
The Greens had a good thick cover of grass that made putting all the more difficult to gauge the best speed due to the moisture from rain and dew overnight.
