Many thanks to Graham Clarke and Adrian Adelerhof for making multiple trips to carry players and clubs between the Peninsula Motel and the wharf. This saved a lot of money due to the cost of parking at and near the wharf.
The ferry to Hawks Nest departed Nelson Bay wharf at 8:00am on Friday 20th February with dolphins escorting the ferry and playing at its bow between Nelson Bay wharf and Tea Gardens
The Hawks Nest courtesy bus transported our playing group to and from the golf course.
21 players teed off on a warm morning with overcast skies helping to keep the temperature down making it more peasant for golf.

There was a 300mm preferred lie on the fairways only.
The greens were in very good condition but slow for putting.
