26 players teed off on an overcast morning that was very chilly (13 degrees) and a strong southerly wind. By mid morning the sky cleared and the sun came out creating a warm morning for golf.
The fairways had a very good grass cover and they had been well mowed producing a reasonable amount of 'run'. The rough was a good length and generally in good condition. 6 inch preferred lie on fairways.
The greens were in good condition helping good putters to sink their putts.
Bunkers were OUT OF PLAY due to the heavy rain over recent days in the Sydney and Illawarra basins.
The Guzzlers Cup was awarded to Julian Werrett.
