Those on the WEEKEND AWAY played Kangaroo Valley the preceding day and were a bit jaded from that and the overnight festivities. Hitting off at FIRST LIGHT was a bit of an ordeal especially for those who walked. Only 20 of the 31 players could secure a cart as BOWRAL GC has only 12 carts and we had 10 of them.

The 1st group teed off at about 6:30 am and the day was fine and warm with a slight breeze. John Dunn obviously enjoyed the course as he won the Guzzlers Cup 

Those present welcomed 3 ex-Miranda Golf Club members: Steve (Froggy) Carroll, Robbie (Richie) Cunningham and Ross Doherty.

The member’s card draw, a bottle of wine, was won by Danny Yu.
