24 players teed off on a day that was a little chilly early but turned into a beautiful day for golf.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Graham Clarke with 41 points.

The competition was a 2 Ball Stableford multiplier.

The winning team was Graham Clarke (41) and Steve Buchanan with 78 points.ahead of Denis Daniels & Frank Fuller with 71 points.

25 July 2015 - Woolooware Golf Course - Stableford - 6:36

28 players was the maximum compliment permitted to tee off by Woolooware GC and we achieved it with ease. The weather was perfect for golf achieving a beautiful 20 degrees towards the end of our round. As a result of the the fairways and rough being very wet underfoot and badly damaged by carts or green-keeping equipment, we were required to play "preferred lie through the green". The good news was that the greens were perfect.

Pairs Championship 2015:

The Guzzlers Cup was won by John Adelerhof. All of us are gratified when we see our most senior golf-playing member of the club win the day's event and derive so much enjoyment from doing so.

19 players enjoyed the later start. The course was a bit wet underfoot but surprisingly dry for the most part considering the amount of rain that we received during the week. I cannot recall anyone saying that their ball had plugged in the mud or soft soil and could not find it.

26 players teed of on a cool but dry morning that turned into a warm winter's day. It was most pleasant sitting in the sun after golf having a few beverages and eating our rissole or sausage on a bread roll while listening to all the excuses as to why some of us had not played better and won the day's event.
