12 hardy individuals turned up at the course on a very wet and miserable morning. The Weather Bureau forecast was not good so the Captain decided to cancel the day's event. Nobody that turned up protested that decision and all went home to snuggle up to their respective partners.

28 players teed off on a beautiful sunny day that was free of cloud, wind and rain.
The course was a little wet underfoot at first from the overnight dew but once teh sun came out teh fairways were beautiful and the greens in excellent condition for golf.
The team of Steve Messervy and Grant Lethbridge fared the best with a score of 62 (70 strokes less their handicap of 8)
In second place was the team of Ben Everson and Ian Cooper with 64.75 (75 strokes less their handicap of 10.25)
In third place was the team of Graham Clarke and Steve Carr with 65 (73 strokes less their handicap of 8)
In last place was the team of Graham Jones and Scott Whyte with 71.5.
