22 players tee'ed off on a beautiful morning for golf.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Scott Whyte (46)

The Captain chose a novelty event where members played in groups of four. The team card was scored by selecting the best Stableford score for the first 6 holes. The sum of the best two scores was entered on the card for Holes 7-12. For holes 13 -18 the best three scores were multiplied and the number scored entered for the hole.

The team of Scott Whyte, Steve O'Grady, Steve Messervy and Tim Pooley won the event with 162 points. The runners up consisted of Fred El-Daher, Grant Thompson and Joe Taylor

The Pink Ball was awarded to Fred Jeanes who was welcomed back after a long absence as Fred has to work most Saturday.

30 players teed off on day in which the weather was good but the flies were everywhere and ever present. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition despite the huge amount of rain that the course experienced during the past week. Great job done by course management and the green keeping staff.
