22 players teed off on a morning that threatened to rain but luckily only a light drizzle occurred for a small part of the game.

The course was a little bit wet underfoot but very few puddles of water on the fairways or pathways.

Each player in each pair was required to take 6 of their drives during the game.

19 December 2020 - Woolooware Golf Course - Individual Stableford & Team Multiplier & Last Round Eclectic - 5:29am

28 players teed off on an overcast but humid morning on a day for which the forecast was for light rain during the day.

The greens and fairways were in good condition. The greens were thick and moist making them slower than normal for putting. The fairways were lush with good green grass cover.

On behalf of the committee, Denis Daniels wished all players present a very Merry Christmas and a safe & Happy New Year.

22 players teed off on warm clear morning which mimicked a warm Spring day with a hint of misty rain at the very start and the very end.. 

The greens were slower than expected and the fairways covered in a thick green mat.

The lake was less than full of water and the streams were not flowing as freely as we have seen in recent months and resembled stagnant pools in places.

I did not play for health reasons but I have been told by one who did that "the greens were absolutely horrible, full of potholes and bare patches" but the fairways were apparently in their usual good condition.

26 players teed off later than normal on a day that threatened to be a stinker which is exactly what it was. High 30s with little cool ocean breeze to take the edge off made the day unbearable for some who did not finish 18 holes.

The fairways were mainly lush and green with the greens were well covered with no blemishes or uneven grass to speak off but they were in the main fast for putting.
