It was 2 degreesC when we arrived at teh course and it was 6 degreesC by the time we finished the first 9 holes but by the time we finished the day had warmed up to a magnificent 13 degreesC. Good day for golf?

On a perfect day for golf we saw a game that was hotly contested between the players for the Engadine Hackers Club and the players for the Miranda Golf Club.

Miranda won this year 8 games to 5 with 2 games halved in a competition that was a team matchplay event where the Stableford scores of both players in each pair were added together to determine the winning pair for each hole.

24 players teed off on a sunny morning that was a bit wet underfoot from the heavy rain during te week. Theer were a few puddles but most players finished the round of golf with dry socks. That is always a good thing!
