The weather was not too hot but not too cold. It was not windy and it did not rain. The fairways and greens were in great condition.

10th September 2016 - Kareela Golf Course - 2nd Round Club Championships - Individual Stableford - 6:00am

26 players teed off with their umbrellas close by as there were a few rain clouds that threatened to mar what otherwise looked like a good day for golf.

After 2 holes the umbrellas were put away and those present experienced very pleasant conditions although teh day's Guzzlers Cup winner, Frank Fuller, enjoyed them the most.

Members said farewell to out President,  Tim Pooley, who has played his last game as a regular member of Miranda Golf Club. Tim, Gai, Nicole and the boys have moved to northern New South Wales to be closer to Gai's parents and sisters. We wish them well in this the next chapter in their life story.
