25 players teed off on a very warm day for golf. It was already 25 degrees by the time our first group teed off at 5:50am.

The greens were in very good condition as were the fairways. The recent rain obviously did some good for the golf course. Even the dams were much fuller than the last time that we played here which was only 2 weeks ago.

27 players teed off on a beautiful day for golf. Rain and thunderstorms were forecast for the afternoon but we got in early and enjoyed every bit of the warmth that Spring has to offer.

The greens were slow and damp with thick cover. The fairways were a bit damp after the deluge of rain that Sydney had in the last 10 days.

2. Graham Clarke was admitted to hospital on Thursday but according to Graham will be released today after teh doctors could find nothing wrong with his heart. His problem occurred after Basketball ot a stadium in Bankstown and doctors now think that he may simply have been suffering form dehydration.

13 October 2018 - Woolooware Golf Course - SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP -ROUND 2 - 06:07am

32 players teed off on a drizzly morning with rain threatening to spoil the day's event but to our surprise the day fined up and was quite sunny & warm for most of the round..

The greens were in excellent condition. The fairways were mildly affected by the torrential rain that Sydney has experienced over the past week. Motorised carts were allowed on the course giving an indication that it was not too wet underfoot for the most part.

Members of the Woolooware Golf Club and the Endeavour Social Golf Club are holding a charity day to assist a mother and her 3 children deal with the medical & hospital bills associated with her battle with cancer. $90 will give participants breakfast, a game of golf and lunch. Should be a great day. Please lend your support to this family in need.
