28 Players teed off on a cool but dry morning. Pars of the course were still a bit wet underfoot but the greens were lightning fast taking most players by surprise.
The day warmed up after 4-5 holes and most players started shedding the woolen jumpers, jackets and the like. What a great day it turned out to be.
The course must have played tough as only 4 out of 28 players scored more than 30 Stableford points.
