8 players teed off on a morning that according to the weather forecast was going to be wet and miserable with 50-70 mm of rain.
The course was very wet underfoot and carts were not permitted on the course. All of the dams were full and the area between the 9th green and the 6th green was inundated with water. In placed in was close to 320 mm deep.
As luck would have it we did not get any rain for the first 5 or 6 holes and then we had a few moderate showers that caused us to don out wet weather gear and put up the umbrellas but we did not get too wet. The last 6 or 7 holes were completely rain free.
The Guzzles Cup was won by Rob Gillespie.
