27 players teed off on a morning that had a blue sky that was largely free of clouds. The sun was out and it was warm. The greens were in very good condition however the fairways were still very damp in parts. There were very few puddles of water around especially on the front nine holes but was damp underfoot. Having said that our shoes were nowhere near as wet as they were over the previous two weeks.
