30 players teed off on a dry warm day at 5:24am that delivered a breeze that kept the heat at bay.

The course was in very good condition despite the lack of recent rain,. The greens were in especially good condition although some thought that they were just a little furry.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Phil Beardsley.
