30 December 2017 - Kareela Golf Course - Individual Stableford - 5:31am

18 players teed off on a warm morning that was very hot and humid. After only a few holes many players (like Mark Santer) looked like they taken a shower with all of their clothes on.

We really felt sorry for those Kareela members who teed off in the mid to late morning. They would have really suffered.

Some of the greens were recovering from a fungus/virus that they caught at around the same time as they cored the greens in September. The fairways were not in the best of conditions especially on the back 9.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Ryan Holt.

The winner of the KAreela Golf Bag for 2017 is Chris Lee scoring 318 Stableford points over the rounds played at Kareela in 2017. The prize was hotly contested with Mick Connor (314), Frank Fuller (311) and John Dunn (309) being in contention until this the final day of the competition.
