24 players teed off on a very warm morning on a day that was forecast to hit 32 degrees. It was definitely warm and humid during the round with little breeze making it a tiring game of golf.
The fairways had a very good grass cover and they had been well mowed producing a reasonable amount of 'run' and the rough was in good condition.
The greens were also in excellent condition resulting in a good test for our putting.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Steve Baker, his first win since joining the Miranda Golf Club.
