31 players teed off on a dry and cool morning with clear skies and a mid-strength wind. The temperature was forecast to reach the early 20s by lunch time which it did.

Most of the bunkers were IN PLAY but there were some that were GUR marked with a stake as they were partially of fully filled with rain water.

There was a 300mm preferred lie on the fairways only.

The greens were in very good condition but fast for putting.

The Guzzlers Cup was won by Geoff Hall

The Miranda Hotel has agreed to support the Miranda Golf Club through a sponsorship that give the winner and runner-up some money to spend at the hotel while enjoying a drink and/or a meal with family and friends.
