8th October 2016 - The Ridge Golf Course - Individual Stableford - 6:20am

The forecast of rain early in the day threatened but nothing eventuated. It was 19 degrees at 5:30am and if it were not for breeze that was quite strong it times it could have been a very hot day for golf.

The course was in good condition but as is usual for the us the bunkers were littered with footprints from the previous day's golfers and the greens were badly pitted from unrepaired divots. You would think that for $49 per game the course management would at least prepare the course better as a service to its paying customers.

22 players teed off but unfortunately Scott Whyte suffered an injury to his shoulder or back in the first few holes and he was forced to 'retire injured'.

The Guzzlers Cup winner was Chris Lee

Joe Taylor achieved an Eagle on the 18th hole for which he received 3 golf balls.
