22 players teed off on warm but drizzly overcast morning. The mountains that surround the course to the west and south-west were cloaked with clouds.
The greens were slower than expected and the fairways covered in a thick green mat. There were puddles of water on most fairways which had forced the green staff to not allow motorized carts onto the course.
The lake was full of water and the creeks were raging torrents.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Steve O'Grady.
