The 33 players that teed off appreciated the early tee off time that helped to mitigate the heat until it eventually burnt off the early cloud cover. It was a very hot day for golf but the course and especially the greens were in very good condition. This is rather amazing when considering the number of social golfers that have played this course in recent weeks.
The Guzzlers Cup was won by Chris Lee (43) ahead of Rodney Dixon (42) and Denis Daniels (40). The The Pink Ball was awarded to Grant Lethbridge (21).
Those present welcomed a new member, Chris Hicks, who is a friend of Scott Thompson. New members, Danial Cundari and Nathan Donohoe, also played.
The member’s card draw, a bottle of wine was won by Matt Whibley.
