Saturday 12 July 2014 – The Ridge Golf Course – PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIPS – ROUND 2 - Stableford – 6:56
The morning was cool but dry and the course was in excellent condition. 33 players enjoyed the condition but Graham Clarke enjoyed it the most winning the Guzzler Cup with 39 points on a count back from Mat Whibley and Rob Guidi (38) in 3rd position on a count back from Chris Lee. The Pink Ball was awarded to Grant Lethbridge (20). Players welcomed Joel Griffiths as a visitor. The winner of the player’s draw, a bottle of wine, was Rob Gillespie. Those present was saddened to hear that one of our popular golfers, John Dunn, has suffered a stroke on Thursday night and all present wished him well.
The Ball prizes were won as follows:
NTP 8th Hole: Ian Cooper
NTP 11th Hole: Graham Clarke
NTP 15th Hole: : Danny Yu
D&P 3rd Hole: Chris Lee
D&P 12th Hole: Denis Daniels
Eagles Nest 5th Hole: Nobody. Jackpots ($16.50) towards next week.
