Saturday 4 October 2014 – The Ridge Golf Course - Club Championships (3rd Round) - Stableford – 6:00

The grey to black clouds and cool conditions instilled a sense of foreboding in those players who turned up at 5.30am for the 6.00am start but we were pleasantly surprised and had a most enjoyable game of golf. The conditions best suited Joe Taylor (47) who won the Guzzlers Cup ahead of Tim Tillbrook (41) and Peter Bull (40). The Pink Ball was awarded to Scott Whyte (26). The winner of the member’s card draw, a bottle of wine, was Tim Tillbrook. Players welcomed a visitor, Matt Pooley.

The Club Championship winners for 2014 are:

Club Champion:             Graham Clarke (241 strokes) ahead of Ryan Carr (250 strokes)

A-Grade:                       Graham Clarke (107 points) ahead of Rob Guidi (96 points)

B-Grade:                       Joe Taylor (112 points) ahead of Frank Fuller (104 points)

C-Grade:                       Tim Tillbrook (98 points) ahead of Fred El-Daher (95 points)

Frank Moran Shield:       Joe Taylor (112 points) ahead of Graham Clarke (107 points)

The Ball prizes were won as follows:

NTP 8th Hole: Denis Daniels

NTP 11th Hole: Grant Lethbridge

D&P 15th Hole: Denis Daniels

NTP 3^rd Hole: Ben Everson

D&P 12th Hole: Rob Guidi
